I hear you Akgamefan, it took me 20 minutes just to download 1 mod , cause that message kept popping up , i guess i picked the wrong time to start playing with mods and the world of Fallout lol! Got it to work. Got the dumb message. Hit the dashboard button on controller. Started up FarCry 5 then went straight back to FO4. Mods DLed no prob. So I think the 'game swapping ' works. Just need to find the right game or app to switch between.

This will hopefully blow the doors wide open for gamers that have been interested in mods, but have simply been unable to apply them for whatever reason, whether that is they simply do not know how to use mods, or their computers are not powerful enough to run high quality games.
With the ability to use PC mods in the Xbox One version of Fallout 4 , this leaves open the possibility that other games will have similar modding capabilities. Nothing has been announced in that regard so far, but it seems unlikely that this functionality would be implemented to only apply to a single game.
Hopefully more titles are announced in the future that will also support PC mods on Xbox One. As it turns out, all versions of Fallout 4 on Xbox One will come bundled with Fallout 3. Of course, anyone that has Fallout 3 on Xbox will be able to play the game on their Xbox One anyway starting this holiday thanks to the recently announced Xbox backwards compatibility that is being added to the system, but with the added benefit of a free copy of Fallout 3 along with the exciting prospect of PC modding capabilities, it looks like the Xbox One version of Fallout 4 may just be the definitive Fallout 4 experience.
